By holding the girl hostage he tries to pressure Stösser into working for him. However, not for nothing has Peter Stösser survived one of the dirtiest wars the world has ever seen. And he can still remember some of the dirty tricks. He manages to free his daughter and flee with her to the West. And then Stösser strikes back.
